WHAT’S HAPPENING AROUND TOWN

LEISURE ACTIVITIES IN NIAGARA

Wishing Well Historical Cottage Rental is located in the prettiest corner of one of Canada's top tourist destinations - the Niagara Region.

Nestled in the heart of Wine Country, Niagara-on-the-Lake is home to dozens of wineries. Spend the day amongst the vines and sample award-winning wines at one of the many local wineries: Chateau des Charmes, Hillebrand Estates, Inniskillin Wines, Jackson-Triggs Niagara Estate Winery, Joseph's Estate Winery, Konzelmann Estates Winery, Marynissen Estates Winery, Pillitteri Estates Winery, Reif Estates Winery, and Strewn Winery.

Enjoy the culture of the area by taking in a theatre performance at the renowned Shaw Festival, an arts extravaganza or some antique shopping.

There are also more than 40 superb regional golf courses, all open to the public and all with country-club-level facilities. Stay and Play golf packages include 18 holes at Niagara-on-the-Lake Golf Club, Legends on the Niagara Golf Course, or Grand Niagara Golf Course as well as luxurious overnight accommodations.

How about a ghost tour, or a fascinating lesson on the past at the Historical Museum or Fort George. Niagara-on-the-Lake is over 200 years old, with a long and distinguished history.

The town of Niagara-on-the-Lake invites you to visit its bountiful orchards, with seasonal festivals to celebrate the harvests of the region.

Nature lovers can choose a range of outdoor activities, from a pleasant walk along the Niagara Trail with a picnic basket, to a scenic boat cruise, to a thrilling (and drenching) adventure up the Niagara River on a Whirlpool Jet Boat.

A visit to the nearby Niagara Parks Butterfly Conservatory or the mighty Niagara Falls is only 15 minutes away. Rock-climbers from around the world come to experience the Niagara Glen.

No need to worry about driving; transportation just got even easier. Leave your car at home and hop aboard VIA Rail for a direct transfer to nearby St. Catharines train station.

We'll arrange a transfer to Wishing Well Cottage through Niagara Classic Cabs and Cars who can also provide transportation throughout your stay.

Feel free to contact Wishing Well Cottage Rental at 1-905-980-0346 or 1-866-226-4730 to learn about all the Niagara Region has to offer.
